All gear can be provided for guided trips, these are recommendations if you wish to bring your own gear.

Striped Bass:

9-10wt rods, with a floating or intermidiate line and minimum 20lb leader is recommended for these fish.

Flies: clouser minnows in size #4-2/0

Deceivers 4-6"

Hollow flies 4-12"

Chartreuse/white pink/white blue/white black/purple are good colour combos for these patterns.

Atlantic Salmon:

7 or 8wt single hand rods and 6 or 7 weight spey rods are reccomended for Nova Scotian atlantics.

Flies: popsicle marabous in many colour combinations, zuddlers, shrimp patterns and traditional salmon flies will all work for these atlantics. ( all patterns must be weightless for salmon)

Searun Trout

4-7wt rods can be used for searun trout depending on tactics and conditions.

flies: woolly buggers, Mickey Finn's, muddlers, Zuddlers, large streamers (olive, white, black)

prince nymphs, hares ears, pheasant tails, copper Johns and stonefly nymphs (size 12-18)

royal wullfs, elk hair caddis, stimulators, ants, hoppers (size 8-18)
